Bring a Friend Week
March 18-23, 2019

Invite a friend to join you at the YWCA any time during the week of March 18–23 and you’ll both receive a YWCA water bottle!

What’s in it for me?
If your friend signs up for an Annual Fitness Plan, not only will we waive their registration fee, we’ll also enter you into a drawing to win a FREE month’s membership, personal training session, 1-hour massage, or 30-minute private swim lesson.

Your friend can join you for a workout in the strength and cardio center, take a swim in the pool or try any of our fitness and aquatic fitness classes. All of our regularly scheduled drop-in activities are available for friends to try. To add to the fun, we are also offering some special activities:

The Power of Two: Friends Fitness Competition
Tuesday, March 19, 9:00 AM
Wednesday, March 20, 5:30 PM

Fitness is more fun with friends! In this 1-hour class, you and a partner will compete against other friend pairs in 6-12 strength and conditioning activities. If the activities are completed successfully, the team scores points! At the conclusion of class, the high score determines the winning team.

The top 4 teams of the week will be entered in a drawing to win a 1-hour semi-private Personal Training session!

Welcome to Power Yoga
Wednesday, March 20, 12:15 PM

Special instruction and support will be given to introduce newcomers to this challenging class. All are welcome, but some yoga experience is helpful.

Raise the Barre
Thursday, March 21, 6:30 AM

Raise the Barre is a great reason to get up and start your day early! Pati will take you through a series of exercises that will invigorate and inspire you to feel strong, balanced and flexible for the rest of your day!

Fitness BINGO
Starts March 18!

Pick up a Fitness BINGO card and see how many activities you can complete during Bring a Friend week! Anyone who completes a full BINGO card will be entered into a drawing for a free month’s membership, personal training session, 1-hour massage, or 30-minute private swim lesson.

Specialty Fitness Classes
Modern Dance Fusion at 6:30 PM Wednesday and Kundalini Yoga at 8:30 AM Saturday will be offered FREE of charge for all during Bring a Friend Week. Drop in and give them a try!
