The Non-Profit’s Summer Camp Back To Full-Capacity This Summer

YWCA Central Massachusetts is excited to welcome back campers to full capacity at Camp Wind-in-the-Pines this summer.

For the convenience of working parents, the day camp will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our community partner, Friendly House, will provide lunch and snacks on site.

Located on Stiles Reservoir in Leicester, Camp Wind-in-the-Pines provides campers, ages 6 to 13 years old, with a robust day of themed activities, games, swim lessons, boating, and more. The lake front property features a boathouse and dock, several recreation halls, a ball field, nature trails and is equipped with private rest rooms, showers and changing areas for campers.

2021 Camp Wind-in-the-Pines Session Themes:

  • Nature: June 21-25
  • Scarecrows: June 28- July 2
  • Independence Day: July 5-9 (closed July 5)
  • Birds of a Feather: July 12-16
  • We Are Family- A Multicultural Celebration: July 19-23
  • Mad Science: July 26-30
  • Superheroes: August 2-6
  • Safari: August 9-13
  • Hawaiian Luau: August16-20
  • Camp at its Best: August 23-27

At Camp Wind-in-the Pines, all camp counselors are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid, and meet the departments of Early Education and Care and Public Health requirements.
