YWCA Central Massachusetts to Host Snow Program for Working Families

WHAT:                Snow Squad

WHEN:                9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

WHERE:             1 Salem Square, Worcester, MA, 01608

COST:                  $25/ per child


Worcester, MA- This winter, YWCA Central Massachusetts will host Snow Squad, a drop-in childcare program designed to support working families in the community when the Worcester Public Schools close due to snow.


Children in grades one through eight are invited to our Salem Square location for a fun-filled day featuring swimming, gym activities, board games, outdoor play, and more.


Families are responsible for providing a lunch and snack. Children are also encouraged to bring a bathing suit and towel, and cold-weather gear (snow pants, boots, hat, gloves, etc).


Families are welcome to register their children in advance, or the day of, by visiting In the event of hazardous travel or a State of Emergency, please call 508-767-2505 to find out whether or not Snow Squad will be occurring.
